It seems that once you get your license you are "alone" in most jobs, particularly if you are traveling, or a contractor...........you are basically alone.  Any supervision offered is phone, and/or unpaid.  Any ideas on feeling connected and supported in positions like this?   I have been in social work for 25 years but this problem is more pronounced since I got my license a few years ago.

Yes, I have been a therapist for many years - I am 58 - and i am tired of the non profits - so I will stick it out with my private practice. I guess the trick is to work with others - if you feel so lonely - and also have a life outside of the therapy room. Barbara Lee  pfendlerruiz@yahoo.com
