I am a standard LMSW with two years of hospital social work experience. Prior to that I worked for a little over a year at Dept of Social Services in Child Protective Services as a treatment caseworker. I completed field experience with Family Connections and the Department of Juvenile Justice. Prior to my Master degree, I worked as an Early Interventionist for the Department of Disabilities and Special Needs. My undergraduate degree is a BA in Elementary Education. I like working with families and children, but I also like pulling in my medical experieince. Enough about me!

If anyone out there works in this part of Virginia, I would greatly appreciate information about the lay of the land. I will be marrying a sailor so I also want to make some friends as he will be gone often. I'm excited about the new start, but getting to know some other like minded individuals would be a big bonus!
